| Yeah IMHR does (well was supposed to be introducing) pony registration now.
If you want to get your papers quickly, MH&PE is the go. If you want to pay less but wait a bit longer for papers, then IMHR.

| Who does the measuring of the ponies with these registries, do they have measurer or can you do them yourself or does it have to be a vet? | |

| You measure them yourself. I dont have a stick so I just use a dress makers tape measure, put your foot on the end and run it up the side of your pony, then use a ruler from the wither to the tape measure to get a reading....dont do what I done the first time and pull it up onto the wither and rest is there...doesnt work | |

| For AMPS, you must be measured by an AMPS listed measurer.
Contact the State rep in your state for a list.

| Yes AMPS and MHAA require an official measurer.
MHPE and IMHR allow self-measuring but you are still subject to being officially measured at a show if anyone suspects the pony is taller than stated on papers.

| MHAA only requires another MHAA member to measure. (Not family I dont think)
It's just to make sure that people aren't registering ponies/horses in the wrong height sections.
