PostSubject: Newbie - from Townsville!   Tue Nov 02, 2010 12:52 am

Hi all,

I'll be a newbie mini owner *hopefully* this weekend!

I have a cute lil fella lined up and provided he gets along with my horse King, i will be a new mini owner! (King is a 15hh QH, very placid and gentle nature)

I have always wanted one! Now that King is by himself i decided id finally get a mini. I didnt expect it to happen so soon but a lady i know can no longer care for her mini as she doesnt have enough time

Pretty excited. I already love him to bits, i just hope my horse does too! Ive said yes ! - it just depends on King!

Quick details on him:

Paint
7.2hh
14mths
Name: Danni

Welcome aboard, we love photos, so once you get him settled in at home, we would love to see some more of him!!
Do you know if he is registered or anything?? Not that it really matters as geldings can be registered for free with most registries, even with unknown pedigree.

Yeah i love taking photos so ill defintely be posting photos Smile

Hes not registered, ive always wondered about that though, i thought they had to know their pedigree. Could you give me any information on how to go about doing that? My QH was registered before i bought him so ive never had to register a horse before.

Very excited, it all happens on saturday and i tell you this, the week has been dragging out!

MH&PE and IMHR will both register horses with unknown pedigree, and both have waived the fee for registering a gelding as they are trying to promote having colts gelded.

I don't know of any in QLD but there's 3 geldings for sale in NSW for $500 the lot. I reposted the ad in the classifieds section of this forum a few weeks back and it was re-advertised on Gumtree a few days ago. They are well bred coloured boys. Might be worth a look?

Jendanelle, do you consider trials?

The black shetland gelding 9.2hh / 8yo i would consider seeing ?

Cheers,
Alysha
