| really confused here... can IMHR horses enter? it has one section sponsored by the MHAA and another section sponsored by the ALH & MBA... I really am confused...If horses have to be registered MHAA thats sad that only a small group of horses can attend. | |

| I did Castle Hill last year and yes, only MHAA and AMPS rego'd ponies could enter.. and they DID request papers, so thankfully I took my one and only AMPS pony. Technically (from what I've been told anyway) I should have also been an AMPS member, which I am not, but they didn't ask. I spoke to the office at the time of the show and apparently their program is EXTREMELY outdated. 10yrs ago, there was really only AMPS & MHAA registries, so most of the classes were developed by them. Castle Hill hasn't got with the times yet, they use the same program every year.. They admitted they needed to "update it" but from what you say.. they haven't! | |

| Sorry just noticed you said ALH & MBA, not AMPS, so it looks like maybe they have changed their program slightly, I haven't looked at it yet to be honest. | |

| I would enter horses registered with the IMHR. It states that its sponsered by the MHAA not MHAA horses only. As long as you can prove that your horse is registered by a relevant society I dont think they could really knock you back. At the end of the day its money that they are earning from your entry.

| That's true.
As I said I haven't looked at it yet but last year it was definitely "AMPS REGISTERED PONIES ONLY" for the Mini Pony classes. | |

| Well that's good news! I just hope they don't change their mind on the day... I really wish they would get out of the dark ages and update their programs. | |
