We took our 4 month old colt to his first show only a week after weaning and he did very well. Took first in his colt class and then won reserve champion stallion/colt, plus also placed second in best presented. Well done Yarreh Lane Hotrod Humphrey.

I still can't believe you managed that after only 4 days of leading lessons Shocked

Who led him in, you or Peter?

And as cute as he is, I reckon the worst thing about clipping a taffy is that their mane and tail still looks dirty! Evil or Very Mad

I guess I just have the touch! lol I was actually unsure how he would behave but he is super easy to train really. After 2 days of resisting even being led to walk I didn't think I had a hope but he came around. I even have him walking over a bridge so I think he will be a great performance horse.

It was me that led him Peter had can see my bangle in the photo of him from behind. I don't have a head in any of the picts so I had to chop me totally out. lol

They are bad photo's, his mane and tail are actually very pale and glistening not at all what the photo shows. I think he will look brilliant when he gets older and they are longer and thicker.

Didn't the colts do well for their 1st outting! I was very happy how Zameel took it all in his stride.
