| Well I had a good day...A bit sunburnt and it was boiling hot when the sun came out!!
Cappa got 2nd in the dilute class of 12 horses!!! I am so stoked...Not bad for my $50 pony lol.
Then he was his led class by default lol
Warrior got second in his halter class,he is a lovely horse but as my nan said today his bum just goes flat, its not nice and round,so I might have to start lunging him and hope he comes good with age.
He done great in his trail class for his first try...but thought he was jumping B grade when he went over the trot poles LOL
shatters done great too...she got first in her class by default lol but I dont care.
Then when she went in for champ the judge come up to me after it and said she really really likes her and she would of gone alot better in champion if I can get her to stride out more..something to work on,I know she can do it,she just needs to be stirred up lol. she done good in trail too and thought she was a showjumper as well! lol

| I'll jump in here and post up my results too if you don't mind!
My filly foals both came third in their respective classes, (Miniature // Small Horse.) I thought my taller filly would do better, but judge said although she moves wonderfully and looks like she is going to become a stunning show pony, she needs to mature more and fill out so that she doesn't stand so close at both ends.
My gelding Duke got a first in novice halter trail... even with no training! He is just such a dude, he just does whatever I ask of him (oh except jump). I didn't think he would back thru the logs or trot over the poles, coz we have never done either but he took it all in his stride, so I am very proud of my little man.

| Scott should start taking photo's at events and sell them...lots of people don't have someone to take photo's for them! And he has taken some great shots...I should know! lol | |

| Yes, he does get some good ones, but the better ones are usually ones I have taken! I think I took most of the ones of Jack that time too. He tends to chop legs off a lot of the time or goes for the blurry action shots so you can "tell they are trotting"... I tried to explain it to him that we KNOW by the position of the legs that they are trotting, we don't want the blurry effect!!!! I had Diva posed up yesterday and asked him to take pics, and even said to him, "do you have her whole body and legs in it?" he said he did, but when I got home and looked at them, her butt and hooves were cut off.... sigh. But I suppose I should be happy coz at least I have a photographer!! | |

| Oh I thought he took the ones of Jack...which by the way I had one of them made into a painting as a surprize for Peter...I will show you when it arrives.
I think I might start taking a 3rd hand with us so we can get some shots...Peter just has no idea.

| I took the ones of your horses in the show classes. I love the one of Warrior in full stride too, but it's a bit blurry so when I tried to crop you out of it and just have the whole pic as him, the resolution was shit.
I hate Scott's Fujifilm camera because it has a slow "continual shoot mode". My little Canon camera just goes bang, bang, bang for as long as you want it to, whereas his only does 3 or 10 at a time and it's slow, so you still end up missing them when they are at full stride. But of course I never think to take the second camera!

| Congrats to you both!!!
Even though i had two horses out with injuries i still got two to the show and we did ok even though i had my lower disc on my back drop out 2 days before the show lol. Ariat Park Aristocrat it was his first how and he took out 1st in Junior Male Head and 3rd in his age class (not very happy with that but these things happen). Marco my 8yr old gelding got Champion miniature senior gelding (by default) lol
Now my fingers are crossed that my bad run is over with and i will have my full team back for the next show.
Big Congrats to all the winners on the day and hope everyone had fun despite the heat!!!

| By default = the only one in the class, so pretty much guaranteed 1st place. | |

| He looks good! But if you look close, the nose of the horse next to him looks like it comes from the side of his head! | |
