Interesting Morning

Walked out the back door to find the "is she isnt she" mare with her tail up and about to lay down. Thought that was strange so walked over to her and watched.

She was up and down, pawing at the ground, yawning, when she layed down she would stretch out and then do the 'shifting foal' rolls. She would even lay down with me less than a meter from her (she is hard to catch)

Anyway got a friend to come help, and because we couldnt catch her we walked her up and got her into the smaller paddock. Then the hooning began and she had a good hoon with the others till i got her through the gate into the back yard.

So now i watch her. She is eating and pooing so i dunno what her problem was.

She is fine this morning. Was doing some belly kicking and niping last night, there is alot of movement in there just cant tell if its squeaky guts or a baby moving.

She is a strange old girl!
