Feeding Weanlings

I have just weaned my little boy (4 days into weaning) and am curious what everyone feeds there babies?

I feed the same as the adults, just different amounts.

Yep, same types of feed here too. But I also like to try and include lots of grazing or roughage in their feed as long as they are doing well on it. I find ponies that are raised on roughage/pasture tend to be better doers as adults that ones are purely handfed high quality concentrates as youngsters. But others say that hand feeding top quality food results in bigger and stronger adults.. but each to their own!

I have never have a weanling but have a yearling and two year old (ok so she is two this year so not really a yearling no more!)
But since I changed them all over to Bio mare cubes they have really picked up,the filly that I could never get rid of the gut and get her topline now has a topline coming in and she has gone from a light yellow to a gold around her face! Something I hope will cover her coat.

You can wet them down if they are too hard for the babys mouth.
they are designed for young horses,mares/foals spelling horses...anything really..

People think cause they are called "biomare" cubes they are for mares only
