| The halter.... aahhh there's a story behind that one!! Almost every time I have gone to a show, the stupid bloody cable halter has broken, come undone, twisted, lead snap breaks... something nearly always goes wrong to me or someone else I know. I even bought a really expensive BKM one, but when I tried to trot them out, if they resisted, it twisted into their eye and they would resist more. Then I was showing a block headed buckskin mare and cable didn't suit her so I got a western halter from the States. I loved it because it was so strong and I knew it wasn't coming off! I finally invested in a pretty little western halter for my foals, and then started looking for one for Prince because his head is in between a typical "Mini" size and "Shetland" size. It took me five months of buying and reselling ones that didn't fit, but finallllllly I found a tack shop in the USA that had the exact size I wanted, I paid for it in the hope it would arrive before Luddenham show but a few days beforehand the seller emailed me saying it was still two weeks away!! I was panicking because I had no back-up halter plan, but then all of a sudden there it was sitting at the post office the day before the show. And yep, it fitted him like a glove. As you would already know by now, the other colt there was Anyssa Park Cause For Applause. I found out on the results page of Emma's Show Horses website, but his owner has now joined the forum too | |

| The little black colt was mine. Ayssa Park Cause for Applause aka Cosmo. He is the one in my avatar picture but he is a lot more black now. The photo in my avatar was taken last year at the mini Show held at Dubbo (State Show I think) December 09 where he was placed top 3 yearling with his breeder.
