| I am going to hijack this thread..No not really but I will post some of my taffy. when I first got him: Then I clipped him a few weeks later and fond this: then a few months later he came out like this: then we had this colour earlier this month: Then I clipped him again before a show and we ended up this colour: And there you have it...taffys really are a horse of many colours | |

| It's not just Taffy's that go through colour changes...I have a palomino that changes too. In winter she is a pale cremello type colour and once she looses her winter fluff she is much darker. And the sun plays a part as well. | |

| hahahaha that first pic of Cappa is hilarious, he's so fugly. I took one look at him at that blokes place and laughed. I shouldn't have, coz he has turned out to be an amazing boy. | |

| It's a bit of a wonderful surprise I guess, every time he gets a haircut. Does his colour stabilize when he matures? Cheers HelenB | |

| Dont worry,I thought he was the fugliest thing on four legs when I seen him too! I was only there to buy shatters then the OH chose him and said "You have to buy that one,it will be a champion" I just rolled my eyes and laughed and bought him to keep him happy.
then every time he wins a ribbon at a show he says " see I told you I can pick them" And I have to put up with him gloating all the time. | |

| Hi Guys, It was sure fun seeing the coat changes in the taffys. The word Taffy comes from the Welsh language meaning " a good sort". Thanks for all the pictures. It was lovely to see them. | |
