| Hi everyone, Im new to the forum and to owning miniatures...
I live in the lower mid north of SA.
I have 2 minis, a mare Bryland and a gelding Shyann, 2 larger horses, a paint mare Lacey, an appy gelding Jamie and 1 pony a coffin bay brumby gelding Comet...
Im a vet nurse, though currently not working as such due to knee injury, I cut chaff and just getting back into making horse rugs... | |

I am also new to this site which I have found very informative and friendly.
I have four miniatures and one 14.3hh riding horse. The minis are one mare, one filly who is from the mare, one colt and one gelding. At the moment they are just pets as I am working at handling them all, but they are all adorable and none of them have any bad habits except the gelding who tends to try to kick when feeding....

| Hi Wendy, mine will only be pets, both mini horses... I would have loved to have shown them, but the gelding he has a fault, he was also skinny and pot bellied when I got him, the mare she is american reg. but apparently she cant be shown here as a mini horse, the original owner (and importer) said that her pasterns arent long enough? Not sure about what this means as these are my first. He is a lovely colour. My mare is an american and was shown and broken to harness although you wouldn't think it, she doesn't like to be caught. She is dun with a white blaze with the dished head. Her filly is brown and the colt is also brown. I would like to breed with them as they can all be registered.
I tried to put a photo on, but it didn't happen for some reason... I will try again soon.

| Thanks Wendy, Shyann is registered as a blue roan appy (hence the showing of the whites of his eyes)... only 1 1/2yrs old.
