New to mini's

Hi there,

My name is Sharleen. Im currently at Glenmore Park near Penrith but will be moving to Bathurst in April and I cant wait. I will finally have my horses at my backdoor on a lovely 32 acres. I have had horses for 20 years showing show hacks and Australian Stock horses. I have worked on a couple of horse studs in my time. I currently have 12 horses. 2 Miniature horses, 2 thoroughbreds and 8 stockhorses. All are shown or are being preped to be shown bar the two broodmares. I have only recently ventured into mini's and attended my first show last weekend with my mini colt and come home with Reserve Champion. Anyway thats me for now and I hope to meet a few of you out and about at the shows.

I havent met you but I did see you at B/town show last weekend..I had three feral lovely minis there with me,I led the taffy colt into the champion class.
Your boy is Stunning!! He is all legs,isint he.

Wow you really have your work cut out with you with all those horses!

I know how excited you must be about moving to Bathurst, my hubby and I have looked at many places out there but we just can't get the deposit together! When we do, we will be right behind ya!

Everyone said he is leggy but I cant see it as im so used to the bigger horses I just fell in love with his kind eye and lovely nature. I love him to pieces. Hopefully you can move to Bathurst it will be great to have some horsie people that I know out that way.

Now I just have to put names to faces in the mini world. I have names to faces with the bigger horses now I have to start again with the mini's. I havent got the mare out there yet. I need more condition on her first.

Hi Sharleen, welcome to the wonderful world of Mini's.
I know your new little guy personally...Cosmo/Ace as we call him. Renee (Anyssa Park) is a friend of mine. We took Cosmo up to Taree twice before Christmas (for his previous owner). I took him into the get of sire class with his 2 brothers Anyssa Park stealing the spotlight and My boy Lai Lai's My blue Immortal....they took out Reserve Champions
When you put my boy along side yours they are identical (you can see Beau on our website). With their stunning heads, lenghth of leg, and AWESOME necks, I just love them both:)
We repeated the same cross again this year & got a black filly with 2 blue eyes.

I see you also have Stock horses...I grew up with these & my father still has them. He's not far from you at Mulgoa.

Well I look foward to meeting you out & about. Are you coming up to the IMHR Nationals at Tamworth?

Funny who you should see on forums. Like the pigs the little horses are addictive. I have just got 2 new mares and a new stallion is comming.
